The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program offers grants for U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies or credit-bearing, career-oriented internships abroad. Students can use these grants to study in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Application Cycle One is now closed.
Late applications are not considered and extensions cannot be granted.
All transcripts must be uploaded in order to submit before the student deadline.
Cycle 2 will open in mid-January 2020 for applicants whose programs that start from May 1, 2020 to April 31, 2021. This cycle encompasses Summer 2020, Fall 2020, Academic Year 2020-2021, Winter 2021, and Spring 2021 programs. Please be aware that the application and advisor certification deadlines are in Pacific Time and take into consideration any time difference as you prepare to submit your application.
All applicants are notified of their status via email. All advisors will also be notified of scholarship recipients via email, and will have access to the status of each student in their Gilman Advisor account.
If an applicant is not selected for Cycle 2, they may re-apply for the next cycle as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements and their program falls within the start dates. |
