
Leadership Function
The leadership is the highest governing authority of APCEO. The rights of APCEO are exercised by or under the authority of APCEO leadership. The leadership authorizes officers of APCEO or committees formed by the leadership to performed certain functions that are subject to the leadership control.
Roles and Responsibilities
. Clarify expectations and best practices related to the organizational culture and the tone at the top. . Set, approve and oversee the strategic direction of APCEO. . Establish the fundamental policies of APCEO and conduct periodic reviews of proposed adjustments. . Shape and define the mission and vision of APCEO. . Monitor the organizational performances and ensure accountability of APCEO. . Review and approve APCEO’s financial targets, budgets, key financial strategies and actions. . Oversee disclosure and transparency, risk assessment, internal controls and processes to ensure legal and ethical compliance. . Enhance the reputation of the APCEO. . Assess and improve the leadership’s own effectiveness. . Promote positive working relationships and communications with members and member societies.
