Mr. Ross Perot Jr., CEO and Chairman of the Board of Ross Perot Group Delivered a Keynote Speech

My first trip to China was in 1999. I was here to recruit an excellent basketball player for the America's NBA. That was very exciting for me. And in my second trip to Beijing, our coach, when seeing Yao Ming playing basketball, said that he would be the best Chinese basketball player in the history of America's NBA.

Now let me talk about my company - the IT industry, the real estate as well as the values and principles we treasure. First, our company sets foot in the IT industry. Now the software service, the IT service industry is worth 6 billion dollars. But in China, the service industry accounts for only 30% of the industry. But I believe that in the future, it will amount for as much as 70% of the industry. What we tended to is not what strategy to use or which market to enter. Rather, we now focus on our values. We provide attentive and professional service to our clients. We must listen to our clients' advices and suggestions and keep close contact with them. Thus, we can know what kind of service we should offer. We value people very much. Our core concept is that we should tend to the needs of people. And we care for our staff as well as their family. Good faith is yet another important values. We treat our clients honestly. Besides, we should create high dividends for our shareholders. Last but not least, we should make active contributions to our community. Our company is a member of the society. So when we have made some progress, we must pay back to the society.

Now our yearly earning amounts to 2 billion U.S. dollars. And we've been elected as the America's top 10 IT service provider. Our company is growing rapidly. And I want to remind you that 1/3 of our technologists are not in America. For example, we've set subsidiaries in both India and China. Now the service industry is relatively small and scattered. So we hope that we can enter the Chinese market as soon as possible. Once you join in our company, we'll be like our family. Our American competitors regard China and India as their background operation base, rather than the core components of their companies. But we EDS are not like them.

The second key industry is the health care industry. Now thousands of American hospitals are using our company's software. Our first office in China was set in Hong Kong in the 1990s. Now we have very active UBS system around the world. We'll continue to promote the development of most of our businesses, including software development and business development in China. The development of our technologies, is the emphasis in China's development today.

And another point is the development in real eatate. We'll talk about the condition of development of the real estate in America. We are the largest team. We are now working on the America's largest property project, which covers more than 18, 000 mu of land. What's most exciting about China is its rapid development. If you have any questions regarding this aspect, please feel free to ask me.

I'd really like to promote the development of China's economy together with the Asia-Pacific CEO Association. Thank you.
