On March 27th, 2006, the Asia-Pacific CEO Association(APCA) announced the beginning of preparations for "International Cooperation Summit for Asia-Pacific CEOs & Provincial Governors and Mayors" in Xing Hewan, Beijing.

The Asia-Pacific CEOs, representatives from some of the World Top 500, embassadors of many embassies in China and distinguished guests from all industries gathered in the beautiful Xing Hewan, Beijing to spend the wonderful night together. In the opening ceremony, honourable guests like Mr. Mark Skousen, famous professor from the School of Economics in Columbia University, Mr. Sandeep Baul, Manager Director of Northwest Airlines (U.S.) China and Mr. Mario Rodrigo Yepes Enriquez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Embassy of the Republic of Ecuador in China delivered keynote speeches.
