After in-depth survey, the organizing committee of the summit has decided to hold the "2006 International Cooperation Summit for Asia-Pacific CEOs & Provincial Governors and Mayors" in Wuxi, China.

Wuxi, the famous city alongside the beautiful lake Taihu has fostered two most typical generations of the rich in China: the Rong's family in modern China and Mr. Shi zhengrong in contemporary China. Also, it has presented to us the Huaxi village, the richest village in China. And the People's Government of Wuxi played the role of nurser and pioneer in the process of creating wealth and the wealthy. Either in terms of the city's hardware facility, or in terms of the city's economic and cultural background, Wuxi best illutrates the theme of this summit --- Innovation & Prosperity of the Asia-Pacific.
