I am very happy to be here to attend 2006 International Cooperation Summit for Asia-Pacific CEOs and Provincial Governors and Mayors.

This year’s session put forward the idea of innovation. Looking back to the entire human history, it was a history of continuous innovation. The Chinese society has taken great changes. The people‘s life is becoming better and better. The national strength is becoming stronger and stronger.

All these come from the Chinese people’s bravery and innovative spirit.

The idea of innovation includes two meanings:

1.        to understand the importance of innovation.

2.        to have innovative ideas

Here are six suggestions I would like to put forward

1.        to give the innovative ideas to the fullest play

2.        Stipulate innovative policies according to different situations.

3.        To conduct innovation on the basis of cooperation and mutual benefit.

4.        to establish a good channel of communication

5.        to put scientific innovation on the top agenda

6.        to conduct international cooperation in a larger range.
