In the morning of March 11, 2009, the cooperation signing ceremony double as the press conference of The 5th International Cooperation Summit for CEOs, Governors, Mayors & Political Figures Worldwide was held in Shangri-La Hotel in Changchun, Jilin Province. The government leaders present include Mr. Chen Weigen, vice governor of Jilin Province, Mr. Zheng Xiongwei, global chairman of APCEO, Madame Cong Hongxia, assistant secretary general of People’s government of Jilin Province, Mr. Ren Fanfei, director of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Jilin, Mr. Wang Zhanwu, deputy director of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Jilin Province, etc.
The International Cooperation Assembly for Asia-Pacific President and Provincial Governor" is sponsored by the famous international economic organization, Association of the Asia-Pacific CEO (APCEO). They unite the Asia-Pacific regional government departments, international dignitaries, president of global multinational corporations and many international economists to set up the Assembly.
They will invite responsible officers of the world's top 500 enterprises and other foreign enterprises, internationally renowned scholars in economics, major media representatives and international and domestic governors and mayors totaling more than 200 participants.
Jilin province will organize the provincial and municipal leaders and responsible officers of the key enterprises to participate in the Assembly.
The theme of the summit is "Pushing Forward the Building of a New International Economic Order and a New International Economic Cooperation Pattern", in accompany with 3 topics related to cooperation and development.
