Dr. Brown was a faculty member and administrator at Arizona State University for 40 years and started the nationally recognized Arizona Prevention Resource Center, a collaboration with 4 state agencies and the university. During his career he has worked extensively with the Washington, DC based International City/County Management Association and the National Academy of Public Administration and the Children's Services Policy Council in Palm Beach County. As a licensed clinical psychologist, he is also a volunteer clinician and trainer for Healthright International (formerly Doctors of the World) evaluating torture victims from mainly 27 third world countries and providing training for U.S. psychologists as well as testifying over 30 times in Immigration Courts. During the past 20 years Dr. Brown has been involved in working with China both as president of the Sias University Foundation in Xinzheng and in promoting partnerships with universities and healthcare organizations. He also is working closely with Florida Atlantic University and their Environmental Education program in sponsoring students from China over the past 15 years to be awarded Masters Degree Assistantships. He is a co-Founder and Director of SmartHealth International working in China building health management programs along with China partners.
